Hobart company details[edit]

Can someone clarify if this company is or is not related to another company, also called Hobart, that manufactures welders and welding equipment? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.211.212.206 (talk) 18:39, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Answering the above question - The Hobart the welding company (http://www.hobartwelders.com/) is a separate organization than Hobart Corporation. They are both owned by Illinois Tool Works. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.58.99.158 (talk) 20:13, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

History is confusing[edit]

"The former KitchenAid division was formed in 1919." Read this entire paragraph, and if you don't know how Hobart and KitchenAid are, or were, related, you still won't be sure after reading the paragraph. It needs simplification and clarification. I've read it several times and I'm still not sure what the timespan was that the two companies (or divisions) were related, and how. 68.58.23.188 (talk) 17:16, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
