Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Hollyhill Hummingbird Farm is a IRS registered Nonprofit, doesn't sell anything, and is a place of interest in the San Francisco Bay Area. There have been many articles written about it, some of which are listed in the citations section.) --Farmingfun (talk) 19:19, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As I noted on your talk page, if you have any financial connection with the subject of this article, you should declare it, as per WP:COI and if you created this article as part of your work, you need to declare that under the "Paid contributions without disclosure" section of Wikipedia's Terms of Use. This is the last time I will bring this up - I just want to be sure you aware of it, as a new editor. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 19:25, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As the tagger, based on the sources presented, my view is that this company does not appear to meet our notability guidelines; others may disagree.Jytdog (talk) 19:25, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed this page earlier and thought the page didn't meet notability requirements either. Simply being a farm isn't reason to have an article here. Otherwise, we'd have every farm with a name having an article. Kingofaces43 (talk) 20:40, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Several good sources have each devoted an article to this topic, which seems a very good sign for such a short stub. I assume the article is going to be developed further; can we give it some time to grow? This, that and the other, might you have any perspective on this based on its AfC history?  Unician   02:56, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I accepted this because of the quality of the sources. I'm pretty sure the OC Register link worked when I accepted the article; it doesn't work for me anymore. (Having said that, the TVB(USA) link ought to be removed, as it doesn't link to a relevant article.) Jytdog, I think if you would still like to see this article deleted, a full AFD discussion would be required. — This, that and the other (talk) 04:20, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
