I aquired the rights to the name Hollywood Video in febuary of 2018 and intend on relaunching the company with the first store in my home town. for info contact me at: charblu35@gmail.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hobohorse2003 (talkcontribs) 17:30, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Hobohorse2003: Has this been published anywhere? It would require a reliable source and then it is fine to add as an edit to the article. You might want to be careful as owner of the trademark causing a conflict of interest by editing the article yourself. There are better approaches to this and I am not qualified to explain them to you. Two places I can pass to you that were taught to me is WP:TEAHOUSE and the WP:HELPDESK.

Darryl.P.Pike, Thank you for this information. I am rather new to how wikipidia works and I will be sure to follow your advice going forward. Thanks again. -Hobohorse2003 —Preceding undated comment added 15:01, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @Hobohorse2003: As mentioned before, you need to provide a reliable source for your additions. The page from the Arizona Corporation Commission (which you mentioned here) only proves that someone named Charles Ross is involved in some way with a corporation named Hollywood Video LLC. It doesn't support any of the other information you've added, which needs a reliable source such as a news report, but I could not find anything about this company relaunch. As the information is currently unverifiable, I have removed the information for now until sources can be provided for it.  AJFU  (talk) 19:47, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

They'r'e back[edit]

Or so it seems. Hollywoodvideo.com is active and they have a Facebook page. Is this the same company, or did someone buy the rights to their name? Could someone please update the article?74.100.47.237 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:29, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The hollywoodvideo.com website seems entirely unrelated to the actual company or this article. They are just using wikepedia for free advertising.2600:6C54:4F00:3F0:0:0:0:E06 (talk) 00:28, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Hollywood Video. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

In February of 2018, a man named Charles (Charlie) Ross acquired the rights to use the name Hollywood Video. Following this, Mr. Ross has stated his intention to open a Hollywood Video location in his home town of Gilbert Arizona by the end of 2019. Mr. Ross also stated in a press release that, "I have plans of opining a Hollywood Video location with a new design to it. I want to make it something that a younger generation can a appreciate while at the same time keep the original charm that people like me grew up with and have such fond memories of".
