Fork[edit]

This content is far from ideal, but I figured forking out a standalone from Homelessness in the United States by state might actually make the process of making improvements easier. I hope we can all agree that the topic of homelessness in Oregon meets eligibility requirements. I've added a POV tag and hope to expand on details about Portland at some point. Down the road, creating Homelessness in Portland, Oregon might be appropriate. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:35, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Graywalls: Please do not merge this content into Homelessness in the United States by state, which is long enough. Instead, I support expanding Homelessness in Oregon. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:21, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Street Roots[edit]

@Another Believer:Does the special interest newspaper like Street Roots even meet the source guideline? Graywalls (talk) 06:37, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Graywalls, Good question! I'm actually not sure about the journalistic standards of the paper, so this might be a question for WikiProject Oregon. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:12, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Another Believer Here's what I've got so far. Think tank or special interest sources Graywalls (talk) 18:58, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Graywalls, I'm ok avoiding use of Street Roots as inline citations, but think the paper should be covered in general. I've shared many other sources below, which could be used to flesh out this page. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:26, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The article started off in very much poor quality when it was imported back in 2017. Everything from "furthermore" down, there is a lot of manipulation and synthesis done by whoever wrote it and introducing significant bias (far and well beyond choice of synonymous words) in favor of homeless. It might be better to simply rewrite the whole thing. Graywalls (talk) 20:30, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Graywalls, Yes, by all means, please make the content better. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:33, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Instagram account[edit]

I removed the contents added by an IP editor's contribution Special:Diff/1038301142 which was about an IG account that came and went since it appeared to be more of a sensationalism than something of an enduring interest. I just noticed it. Any thoughts? Graywalls (talk) 05:47, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
