Demographics Data:[edit]

The data referenced below from the US Census Bureau is for the Town of Richmond, NY, not the Hamlet of Honeoye. Since Honeoye is not an incorporated entity, this information should be removed. The data is already present on the Richmond, New York wiki page.

This data is listed here:

as bring from Honeoye, NY. Do you have reason to believe it is incorrect?

I dont know about you, but I cannot access the site that you reference. The OP is correct, the US Census Bureau does not have any information for Honeoye. If the site does say that that is the information, it is most likely for richmond, as the people here refer to Richmond as Honeoye. I hope that makes sense. --omnipotence407 (talk) 11:33, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing in these pages about the origin of the name Honeoye. It looks unpronounceable. How is it pronounced? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.35.214.111 (talk) 15:18, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunication is listed right at top now - it is "Honey (like bees) Oy" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bboorman (talkcontribs) 20:34, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
