Familial connection de Vere[edit]

Is this guy a descendant of another famous prankster, Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford? (Who wrote many stage plays, sonnets and had them published unde the name of a semi-literate stratfordian called Shaksper) 91.83.4.102 (talk) 16:16, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not a direct descendant, but of the same family: his mother Jane de Vere traced her ancestry back to the 15th Earl of Oxford, the 17th Earl's grandfather. So there might well be an element of it running in the family! Ashiyura (talk) 22:04, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
