The album liner notes credit Syd Straw and Esta Hall as the only two female backing singers on the album, but for one song only -- "Put You Down." Anyone know who sings on "All Her Songs" and "Coming Up For Air" (and all the other songs with female singers)? BlackCab (TALK) 06:39, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The credits are somewhat misleading. In the CD booklet, it say "backing vocals: Syd Straw & Esta Hall (Put You Down). For anyone who knows Syd Straw's voice, it is obvious that she's also singing on "All Her Songs". It's not quite as obvious in the other songs with female bvox, but I think it's always Syd. So I think the credits are meant to mean that Syd Straw sings on the whole album while oEsta Hall only sings on "Put You Down". (As I'm writing this, I'm listening through CD2 of the album, I've reached "Keep My Word" right now, and that's definitely Syd singing) 95.33.72.228 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:28, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
