First bigtime artist?[edit]

Someone informed me that a person by the name of Gong Wang (江橫) sang the music for the film The Kingdom and the Beauty (江山美人)? I cannot find anything on this person. But if this is true. This person may be the very FIRST famous Huangmei singer in Hong Kong that everybody forgot. Benjwong 04:26, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hubei?[edit]

The Huangmei County article says that it came from Huangmei County, Hubei, near Anhui. If accurate, this should be added to the article. Badagnani 18:31, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Language[edit]

It should be added what language(s) it is sung in. It's sung in Mandarin on the video clips I've seen, but is it also sung in Cantonese or other dialects? Badagnani 18:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Instruments[edit]
