I believe the text on that webpage is public domain; "Text reproduced from the Dictionary of National Biography 1901 - 1911 Vol. 1" which I believe was published in 1920. Someone with more knowledge of this (and more time) should look into it rather than delete outright. Sam Walton (talk) 19:45, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, just noticed the public domain notice at the bottom, so I think the G12 can be declined. Sam Walton (talk) 19:46, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. I think a third opinion would be helpful. I don't see a pubic domain notice, but I do see a permissions notice. I agree that the material may be pubic domain. I was basing the G12 on the copyright notice on the bottom of the page: "©2002-2013 Arthur Grenfell Coomb".- MrX 19:55, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I meant at the bottom of this article, but this is definitely out of my area of expertise. Sam Walton (talk) 20:11, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Samwalton9 and MrX: I looked into the details after I (prematurely) deleted the article, and the contents do appear to be from the Dictionary of National Biography". See this excerpt from one of the indices of the publication on Google Books. I, JethroBT drop me a line 00:17, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you I JethroBT. I will try to be more cautious in the future.- MrX 00:27, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I also need to be more careful before I delete things! :) I, JethroBT drop me a line 00:35, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
