Notability?[edit]

Does he meet WP:BIO notability criteria? Billlion (talk) 19:01, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he helped build the SQL standards and develop them both at IBM and at ISO. Also, he is auþor of several influential articles, coauthored several influential books with Christopher J Date and others, and was influential in the creation of several relational model implementations. WSEAS[edit]

WSEAS is generally considered to organise junk conferences of doubtful scientific quality. Wikipedia should not cite such resources. See also here. --Tillmo (talk) 18:08, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew Warden[edit]

shows no WorldCat library records as Warden (maybe linked to the Darwen identity)

Andrew Warden at Library of Congress, with 1 library catalogue records "Click through" to the one book. -- if i understand correctly, that is some contribution to a 1990 collection of 1985-89 writings by C.J. Date.[1]

I can confirm that Andrew Warden is me, Hugh Darwen. I have just made a couple of edits: (a) to reflect the fact that I am no longer teaching at UK universities and (b) to add a recent publication to the list. --AndrewWarden (talk) 16:23, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
