Flexible systems[edit]

Does anyone have sources for flexible systems such as used by Harry Ricardo for riveting on Indian railway bridges? The London Science Museum had little available when I last asked several years ago. SovalValtos (talk) 01:49, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See hydraulic intensifier for a little on his work with those. It's mentioned in his autobiog. Andy Dingley (talk) 03:08, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Ricardo book was as far as I had got. What I was hoping for was some images of equipment, hoses, tools etc plus more drawings than are on commons. There is not much in Lane, 'The Rendell Connection' SovalValtos (talk) 07:12, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also Chicago[edit]

I don't see any mention of Hydraulic power systems in the USA. I'm told that Chicago had one, last pressurized I think sometime just after WWII. I haven't added it because I don't have an reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.162.148 (talk) 22:35, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
