Merge proposal[edit]

I note that the article on Alain Thébault contains almost no information about the man, and instead focuses on the Hydroptère sailboat. Therefore, I propose that the content from that article be merged to this one. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:49, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thebault and l'Hydropètre are closely linked, but the articles need to be kept separated. The biography of Thebault needs to be expanded. Prokofiev2 (talk) 08:59, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please remember, merges aren't permanent.
Currently the article on Thebault isn't even a biography. I agree it needs to be expanded, but until that happens, there is no point in retaining redundant information in two articles. If the information on Thebault is expanded after the merge, it can always be separated out into its own article again. But until that time, we have a redundant article that adds nothing to Wikipedia that isn't already in the Hydroptere article. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:01, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong speeds[edit]

Intro says 50 knot in kmh is faster than 50.17 knot in kmh 49.196.58.188 (talk) 03:28, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

that's in rounded numbers, which is why its 92.91 kph for the 50.17 value.
