Updates / Contested deletion (cont'd)[edit]

This article proves to be more than just promotion and serves to provide actual facts relevant to Hylink's 20-year history. (See History & Recognition.) CSD G11 should be argued.

Furthermore, it has a credible source in Bloomberg (see Reference), and the company is associated with large companies such as SAIC-GM, Taobao, and Google. CSD A7 should also be argued. — Quinysu (talk · contrib) 06:35, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it has actual credible sources. Hylink has won awards. It's CEO won the IAB 2012:

His name is Su Tong. In China they're very legitimate. We'll make the proper references in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quinysu (talkcontribs)

This article has some serious issues still to overcome. If this article survives CSD, the article itself should probably be moved simply to Hylink. — Andy W. (talk · contrib) 00:55, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Also, why does this company not have an article in the Chinese Wikipedia yet? Or does it, and needs to be linked? — Andy W. (talk · contrib) 01:50, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It would be accurate to say that no one cared to write a company entry into the Wikipedia database until recently. Since the company is getting closer to IPO, there has been a conscious effort to aggregate all known info online into an accredited source to present a more cohesive narrative. To be honest, the company just isn't all that trendy—so it doesn't attract the kind of attention or need for more info like that of Apple or Airbnb.— Quinysu (talk · contrib) 02:05, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Or even Weibo or Tencent— Quinysu (talk · contrib) 02:05, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Just please be clear that Wikipedia is not for spam, and not for advertising. Your intent to create this article should be to collect and develop educational content for dissemination. The article is starting to look better to pass CSD at this point, so good job in the little improvements. Thanks — Andy W. (talk · contrib) 02:32, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
