Proposed merge with The Explorer Group[edit]

merge to parent company DGG ( talk ) 23:50, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge - Company is not notable on its own. Its a subsidiary of a subsidiary (Explorer Group --> Hymer --> Thor Industries). Ping me when this closes and I will gladly do the redirect and merge to the page on Hymer. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:20, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge, preserving redirect and history > deletion. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:01, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Reject. This is seriously batty. You have not even bothered to read the first paragraph of the article. Hymer is not a subsidiary of the Explorer Group (which, if you believe wikipedia and on this occasion I do, Hymer acquired recently). What is this eye wateringly careless approach intended to achieve? Regards Charles01 (talk) 08:22, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Charles01: I think that you've misread the proposal and the discussion. The proposal is that The Explorer Group page be merged into Hymer, as The Explorer Group is a subsidiary of Hymer. That was clearly CNMall41's point, and is consistent with DGG's proposal (which did indicate a merge direction on one of the templates). Furthermore, the The Explorer Group page is an unreferenced stub, another reason to merge to the larger group. I therefore support the proposal as stated.
