Formatting for trials[edit]

I've done many edits on these pages before and I'd suggest that instead of introducing a new, grey colour to indicate voting of dual origin, you instead use the previous format of highlighting one of the names in yellow (in this case Danny's) and another in blue (for an example of this see Trial 5: Snake Hotel from Series 19). This will help keep the articles consistent.

The UK trials are the outliers on the colour scheme - international versions use grey for trials of dual origin (see Australia). When the public vote for one trial participant and the camp selects the other, grey is used.

Well we have never used another colour when we don’t need to.. this needs changing and if it isn’t then you’re causing disruption.Bettellen (talk) 12:10, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Amend it then. I only amended it in the first place because no-one had done.

mjharmstone (talk) 13:30, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Number 1: We can't amend it because we're not allowed to. Why do you think I started this conversation in the first place?

Number 2: Our system uses fewer colours and it allows for more detail in specifying which camper was voted on and which camper was chosen by their fellow campmates. The grey is impracticle as it will not specify whether the "dual origin" is a green/blue mix, a blue/yellow mix or a yellow/green mix (for an example of a separate mix, see Series 7, Jungle Jeopardy. Janice was voted for to do the trial however Biggins had to do it too since he was a late-joiner, hence the mix of yellow and green).

Four colours is not necessary. I'd suggest someone change it.

Snoochie Shy’s T-shirt with her name on says Snoochie, not Shy so this needs to be amended. Thanks. 2A01:4C8:C28:BA0A:123:36F2:6F21:65A9 (talk) 16:08, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This please. If you're going to lock users from editing this article but then not using the formatting provided, then there's really no point to locking it at all.

Star Count Edit Request[edit]

The head to head trials that have been featured recently did not feature stars, and instead they were merely battling for which camp got to eat. The general formatting for previous seasons is that this should not count towards the star count in any way and instead must be shown as simply a head to head on the trial list. I suggest this should be amended.

As an example:

Trial
number
Air date Name of trial Celebrity
participation
Winner/
Win or Loss/
Number of stars
Notes
1 21 November Turrets of Terror Frankie
Richard
Frankie 1
2 22 November Dreaded Diner Danny Danny 2 3
Snoochie
3 23 November Treacherous Traps Snoochie Snoochie 4
Naughty Boy
4 24 November Castle Kitchen Nightmares Richard
  • ^Note 1: For the first time in the show's history, the vote for the first trial opened a week before the series began, with the public deciding who would be facing the first trial.
  • ^Note 2: Only campmates from The Clink were eligible to be voted for this trial, as a result of losing the entry challenge. The campmates from the Main Camp then decided which one of them would compete against the celebrity who received the most public votes.
  • ^Note 3: Snoochie also completed the trial, however lost the tiebreaker.
  • ^Note 4: Only campmates from the Main Camp were eligible to be voted for this trial, they therefore had to choose which member of The Clink they would compete against.

This should be the correct formatting since the campmates were not battling for stars and were instead simply trying to win the contest. It would be confusing to suggest that they were collecting stars in any way. I have worked on many of these articles, and although I am not claiming my judgement is determinate, I do believe that this method would fit with the layout of the previous articles better. @DigitalChutney:

Castle Scary-oke Star Count[edit]

I think it needs to be discussed as User:WikiFlame50 continues to keep reverting to show when the correct rating is . Frankie refused to drink one of the drinks and therefore they lost a star. User:L1amw90 AND User:Samm177 have attempted to correct it but have been met with aggressive comments and continued reversions from WikiFlame.

There are 11 celebrities still in camp and they are still playing for 11 stars, so it should be basic common sense.
