Roentgen[edit]

Didn't this monitor start off with the code name "Roentgen"? I thought "Big Bertha" was the code name of the second generation model.24.83.178.11 10:11, 27 October 2007 (UTC)BeeCier[reply]

  • Roentgen refers to a 2560x2048 panel in the 16" range (I forget the exact number offhand) with the same PPI. Big Bertha is the Roentgen technology in a larger form factor. Bhtooefr (talk) 04:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Response Time[edit]

The specified response time for this monitor is 62ms to refresh the image on the screen. Viewsonic and IBM have also reported the same number. IDtech refers to refresh as Image Formation Time

VP2290 redirect needed[edit]

It could use a VP2290 redirect unless someone thinks it would be a bad idea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.254.81.114 (talk) 00:09, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs a reorganization, but want to discuss what the best way to do that would be[edit]

Really, there appear to be three generations of this family.

The T220 (9503-DG0), the T221 (9503-DG1 and DG3) and various clones such as the Viewsonic and Iiyama displays, and the T221 (9503-DG5, DGP, and DGM).

I'm kinda thinking of breaking it into those three sections, and grouping the clones with their related T221 model.

Also, the DGM is a bit of an oddball - it's the DG5 hardware, but 41 Hz. There's a citation on a private Yahoo Groups message, but I'm looking for a better one.

Any thoughts before I do any of that? Bhtooefr (talk) 14:56, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are there photos and documents on the other models? All three seem very similar and some what obscure (and I say that as a T221 owner) and I don't see the need to split the article. Reorganize, sure. -- 23:32, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
