Q: If it can be used on any media, including the internet, then why is it always sent over a serial line to a handheld unit?
Ans: The author(s) have only discussed 62056-21. The article needs to discuss the other standards in the series in order for the reader to really appreciate the depth of its capability. --DavidDHaynes (talk) 20:06, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IEC 62056-62 has been replaced by IEC 62056-6-2:2017 in two steps according to IEC. There seems to be a lot more than nineteen interface classes. I think the whole sentence should be removed (under Interface classes). Olht (talk) 20:31, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
