YUG/SCG/SRB[edit]

IHF consider the Serbian national team to be the direct and sole successor of the Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro teamshttps://www.ihf.info/competitions/junior-men/310/2019-ihf-mens-junior-u21-world-championship/6215/teams/119 DusanSilniVujovic (talk) 19:21, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

*as Yugoslavia, ** as Serbia and Montenegro clearly points to different countries. Pelmeen10 (talk) 16:49, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Hyperion82 and Kante4: opinions? Pelmeen10 (talk) 19:36, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pelmeen10: Yup, different ones per IHF. Kante4 (talk) 19:39, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pelmeen10: I agree, these are different national teams. Hyperion82 (talk) 20:08, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Hyperion82 and Kante4: Besides the IP edits I reverted, some parts of this article still combine different countries together. Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:10, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pelmeen10: I can't see these parts. In addition to the years with asterix (*), I can add this sentence from this article - "And with just one Olympic Games (2012) since independence in 2006, the lack of visibility on the global stage will have hit hard in the handball-mad country". So, it seems for me as another confirmation of separation of Serbia and predecessor teams at the IHF site. Hyperion82 (talk) 20:44, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"All-time table for champions" - Pelmeen10 (talk) 20:56, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pelmeen10: Thank you for clarification, I corrected this section Hyperion82 (talk) 09:42, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1938 Germany[edit]

Should the host/winner country in 1938 not be Nazi Germany instead of Germany? StativStakitKasket (talk) 14:16, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
