Acronyms[edit]

Example; "...MAGTF through MEU, MEB and MEF..." What do all these mean? Please remember that an encyclopedias mission is to inform. If the full title makes the section unbalanced, consider making the acronym into a link where an explanation can be found - I have no idea if such articles already exist, since I don't know what I would be searching for. Incorrect unit patch for III MAF[edit]

The insignia on this page captioned "The old III MAF insignia" is incorrect. This patch was used by the III Marine Amphibious Corps during World War II and was not used by III MAF during the Vietnam War. It should also be noted that the Marine Corps has not recognized the use of individual unit insignia besides the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, since 1947. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.162.128.55 (talk) 15:57, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

unit patch for USMC IIIAC[edit]
