Introduction[edit]

  • Shops operating hours are from 10 am to 10pm. Besides retail stores, IMM also houses offices and warehouses for storage, which is advantageous in terms of cost efficiency to some retailers. [1]
  • It is served by many buses at the bus stop behind IMM Mall (Bus stop: IMM Building): 52, 105, 183, 188, 188R 333, 502 & NR5 [2]
  • IMM is Singapore’s largest outlet mall with close to 60 outlet stores and shoppers get to enjoy up to 60% discounts daily.

Outlet stores include brands like agnes b, coach and desigual Adidas, Agnes b., Billabong, Bossini, City Chain, Clarks, Coach, Converse, Cotton On, Crocs, ECCO, Furla, G2000, GEOX, Goldlion, Hush Puppies, Kappa, Minoshe, New Balance, Nine West, Puma, Rockport, Sacoor, Samsonite, Timberland and Winter Time.

Incentives to Shoppers[edit]

  • IMM has a 6 storey carpark (5 levels covered and 1 level open air) with 1300 parking lots. To attract shoppers, it offers the first two hours of parking for free.

  • Wet and dry playground and a treehouse at IMM Garden Plaza on level 3 to cater to shoppers with young kids
  • Reward system- CAPITASTARS from scanning receipts, shoppers can then exchange them for Capitamall vouchers. from mall promotions also.

Dining in IMM ranges from cafe, dessert bar, fast food, food court and restaurant.

Cafe[edit]

Cafe like Ah Mei Cafe, Kopi O and Streats Hong Kong Cafe, reaches out to all races by serving Halal-certified traditional, value-for-money Asian breakfast and snacks in modern cafe setting. This provides shoppers a place who wants a light snack or to gather with friends.

Outlets like Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert attracts shoppers to a range of authentic Hong Kong style desserts, such as Mango Pomelo Sago, Osmanthus Jelly, Mango Pudding and Almond Sesame Paste. They also provide wide range of Hong Kong snacks and local food catering to different taste and preferences of shoppers.

Fast Food/Takeaway Kiosks[edit]

Fast food outlets like Subway, MacDonalds and Popeyes Lousiana Kitchen, offer food that is prepared and served quickly.

Takeaway Kiosks like Gong Cha, Old Chang Kee and Roti Mum, offers shoppers snacks to munch on-the-go.

Kopitiam offers the best hawker food at affordable prices. They offer local favourites such as kaya toast, wanton noodles, fried hokkien prawn mee, char kway teow, chicken rice and minced meat noodles.

Kopitiam uses Stored Value Dining Card that allows diners to purchase food and beverage by simply ‘tap and go’.

Restaurants like Long Beach Seafood, Ichiban Sushi, Soup Restaurant and Sushi Express. These restaurant provide good food at affordable prices, together with its promotions that attracts diners to hold their regular dine outs.

Outlets sell clothings, jewellery, watches, sports, shoes, bags and sunglasses. Most of the outlets are mainly warehouse stores that aims to offer shoppers with a wide variety of products at an affordable rate.

Outlet stores offers off and on-season collections of footwear, apparel and accessories at 35% to 60% discounts.

Retail outlets like Daiso, ZTP Ginseng, and Eu Yan Sang, aims to provide shoppers with products for households and health supplements. These lifestyle outlets assured shoppers would be able to find something that suits their needs.

Facilities and Amenities[edit]

Family Services[edit]

As a family friendly mall, IMM provides complimentary loan of baby strollers and wheelchairs to families who require the use of such services. In addition, for the convenience of families with infants, nursing rooms are located on level 2 and 3 of the mall.

Playground[edit]

Located at the Garden Plaza on Level 3, IMM houses a wet and dry playground, together with a 7-storey treehouse, specially catered to families with children. The playgrounds include obstacle courses and a merry-go-round, designed to be interactive and fun for the children.

Wifi Access[edit]

In a bid to better serve their customers, IMM is currently in process of upgrading their technology to provide free wifi access.

Others[edit]

IMM also provides other services such as Mobile Phone Charging Services and sale of Capitaland Vouchers for the convenience of their shoppers. Sistic ticketing counter can also be found at the mall, located on level 2 of IMM Building.


Incidents[edit]

Shootout Simulation[edit]

There was a shootout simulation on 27 October 2014 at IMM during Exercise Heartbeat 2014, which is an emergency preparedness exercise held once a year. There was a simulated shootout where people acting as assailants pretended to shoot civilians. This was followed by a simulated car explosion near the entrance of IMM Mall. [1]

Flooding[edit]

A small fire caused by an electrical fault on 12 March 2015 activated the water sprinkle system and affected nine stores and four pop-up stores on the first storey of IMM Building. Some goods suffered water damage while some shops closed down temporarily. [2]
