@Locke Cole and ElijahPepe: - I am removing the merge tag. There has been some sort of race condition. (An edit conflict is a type of race condition. This doesn't seem to have been an edit conflict of the usual sort, but it does seem to have been a race condition, maybe of an unusual sort.) The draft was being accepted into article space while I was reviewing the draft, and what I was seeing in the draft is no longer in the draft, because the draft is, properly, a redirect to the article. I will look for the information that I wanted merged into the draft, but in the meantime, it seems that my merge tagging was overtaken by events. Leaning towards supporting a merge of iPhone 15 Pro into iPhone 15 (and the rest); the differences are small and there's significant overlap on most subjects (USB-C, overheating concerns, innovation or lack thereof, environmental sustainability, etc). I got the impression these models were mostly discussed together by the media. Our articles on recent iPhones are short anyway, so no WP:SIZESPLIT concerns, and I think there's a case to be made for WP:MERGEREASONs #2 and #4. I too find it strange how each recent generation of iPhone is covered by multiple articles, which results in duplication of more than the part about the change from Lightning to USB Type C because all of the models of the same generation of iPhone are clearly closely related. Should an article such as Ford Focus (first generation) also be split into multiple articles because no fewer than four different body types of the same generation of the same model of vehicle were produced and sold? Wikipedia seems strange for seemingly having no problem having only one article per generation of a model of vehicle but needing to have multiple articles on the same generation of computer from Apple. Ford Focus was literally the first example I thought of to use as an example here because I already knew that Ford sold no fewer than four body types of the same generation of Focus: ZX3, ZX4, ZX5, and ZXW. As the first example I thought of for a family of computers marketed as a specific application instead of as a computer, the PlayStation_(console) article covers all of the generations of the same generation of computer from Sony, including the PS one that looks much different than the earlier generations even only at first glance and to someone not into the technology, and even including the PlayStation Classic, which is apparently an ARM computer that runs a software emulation of the PlayStation, which is a MIPS architecture computer.
