Untitled[edit]

I do NOT think this page should be deleted. I actually came to this page hoping to read more on the format the games are in and the possibility of third party games. I think these details will come around after the buzz has died down. Dukemeiser 03:42, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Link to "iPod" Article[edit]

I was wondering if we should link this up to the iPod article... This article could get some more attention if we do so, however, because it's still a stub it could be deleted... so it might be better to get some good info onto this article before linking it up... I don't know. Anyways any other ideas or opinions will help. Thanks. Burn N Flare 18:56, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gaming platform.[edit]

While it is a function of the iPod, it seems this is a different type of application (gaming platform) and, as content grows, it would qualify for coverage similar to any other handheld gaming platform (ie, a place to list games, creators, trivia, backdoors, etc.) I would prefer a page specifically for the gaming aspect. --Allen Huffman

that's as may be, but that's what future updates are for, is it not? splitting out sections when they become able to support their own weight seems more logical, organizationally, than to split things into myriad pieces that have little value on their own ahead of time. Timeline[edit]

The article stated that "all versions" of the iPod came with Brick, Solitaire, Parachute, and Music Quiz, which is not at all true. The original iPod came with only Brick, and only as an easter egg. I changed the text to reflect this. Does anyone know when (i.e., in which generation) the other three games were added?

IPod Games - iPod Games[edit]

I might be being simple here, but it seems that pages such as 'iPod' and 'iTunes' have overcome the technical restriction that prevented an article starting with a lowercase character. But I can't see how to edit this page to achieve the same result. Any tips there? You put {{Lowercase}} somewhere in the article. :) 71.188.51.22 (talk) 19:48, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

iPod Games are sold from the App Store, are they not?[edit]

On the iTunes Store, the App Store drop-down menu has a button for iPod Click Wheel Games. It looks like it is sold under the App Store and all click wheel games that are downloaded from the store are put into the applications library. I would think that these games are sold from the App Store rather than the iTunes Store. It really doesn't make sense that the iPod Click Wheel Games would be part of the iTunes Store because it's just a few games out of 10,000,000 songs, 150,000 podcasts, etc. And if I were Apple I certainly wouldn't know where else to put the games. 69.255.16.132 (talk) 01:23, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

Are the external links to http://gettheapp.com and http://transferpod.com necessary? To me it seems like advertising for a mostly unrelated topic. Jamjamnorman (talk) 09:55, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
