This needs to be expanded. Papers refer to it as "UV/IR Mixing" or "UV/IR connection" but typically and do not explain it. 98.248.188.20 (talk) 21:22, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Potentially useful secondary source[edit]
I just came across this article from Quanta Magazine from March 2022 which goes into some depth on the motivations behind and activity around UV-IR mixing. This could be useful as a secondary source for this article which currently has none.
