Scope creep[edit]

I believe this article has mission creep. It should be a suscinct description of the book itself. The biographical material should be integrated into the article about Steve Wozniak and this book should be applied as the reference. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 15:40, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mission creep? What's that? So you think that the entire "Description" section should be nixed? It's a detailed outline of what Wozniak discusses in the book. What's wrong with that? Other books have much more detailed accounts of the book's contents. — Frecklefoot | Talk 16:29, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the case of most books, this is fine. However, this book is an autobiography and thus has much information that would relate to his autobiographical article here. Don't you think the information in this article would flesh out the other article nicely? At that point, this article would then only need to cover the specifics details regarding the book and a brief summary, including highlights. There's a lot of data here and the other article could use it, but it need not be in both places. I had thought about creating an article for the book myself, but decided against it for precisely this reason. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 17:18, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the article already uses the book as a reference for a great deal of its material. I do think all the information from the book would help the Steve Wozniak article, but I don't really want to do it myself (right now). If you want to go ahead and shove the stuff into the Wozniak article and take it out of here as you do so, that's fine with me. But I don't think it should all be whacked in one go, unless it is added to the Wozniak article as well. All the information is valid, and think it deserves a place on Wikipedia. But I don't really care whether it appears here or another article. — Frecklefoot | Talk 17:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
