Ian’s notable. Citations in article give specific technical matters (e.g., kubernetes attacks and security patches) that pretty solidly establish this.
If you compare the related article for Kelsey Hightower, a similar level of detail showing notability as a public figure associated with Kubernetes who gets mentioned in textbooks and articles establishes notability easily.
As a complete random and non-wikipedian, I would recommend strongly against deleting this article. I would look skeptically on arguments for deletion, because Ian is controversial, and likely to attract such arguments in bad faith.
