Alleged support of homosexuality[edit]

Do modern Alawites consider homosexuality as virtuous? It seems impertinent to post Moosa's perspective without an Alawite perspective.

Many mainstream muslims[edit]

Many mainstream muslims don't consider the followers of ibn Nusayr as Muslims. Article should reflect this. Aliibn (talk) 13:39, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The death date for Ibn Nusayr cannot be correct! How could he have claimed to be a bab for the 12th imam if the 12th imam hadn't been born yet!

Good point about the date, I took it out, and fixed the article up a bit. --pashtun ismailiyya 02:20, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I actually cannot find his date of death anywhere! What do do!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.208.125.244 (talk) 06:00, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't either! We'll leave that information out till someone finds it, don't worry about it. By the way, you should get an account! It's fun. :D --pashtun ismailiyya 06:17, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

The "Schisms" section needs editing/rewriting for tone; it simply does not describe the events neutrally. Including tangential comments that Nusayri was "in a way trying to 'catch that wave'", that the 12th Imam was "an invisible son of questionable historicity, to whom is attributed divine powers and unnaturally long lifespan", the nonfactual claim of Shiah unity until the death of al-Askari and a the vague hadith of 72 sects, among other issues, contributes to a clearly biased tone. If these matters are relevant, they can stand on their own with relevant sources without snark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:402:C201:39D0:D8C4:1B38:5E7B:30DD (talk) 20:46, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
