Idrissa Gueye → Idrissa Gana Gueye – I feel Gana Gueye is his WP:COMMONNAME, also his kit has "Gana" on the back of it and everton articles seem to refer to him as "Gana". [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] Evertonfc13 (talk) 19:13, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Opppose - that's what the club refer to him as, but not the wider media, including the Premier League, Liverpool Echo, Goal.com, The Metro...I could go on. Giant Snowman 08:53, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Weak Opppose - per WP:COMMONNAME as that seems to be the main way he is referred to in the media. Yes his shirt says "Gana" on the back but Alexis Sánchez's shirt usually says Alexis and Memphis Depay's shirt usually says Memphis. Inter&anthro (talk) 10:34, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Inter&anthro: I feel that those situations are different because those are first names, while Gana is not his first name. Also, in both of those situations the name on the back of the shirt is already in the Wikipedia title, while it is not in this case. Evertonfc13 (talk) 12:59, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
