Electric vehicles?[edit]
What do you call this in electric cars since they don't strictly have an ignition?--Cancun771 (talk) 05:40, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- Still "ignition switch", because that's what drivers are familiar with.
- Although a few electric cars have them. Other technical changes at the same time mean that they're now being replaced by various RFID and coded key fob systems, not a physical key or physical switch. Andy Dingley (talk) 07:47, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
