Ellenblum[edit]

The following is presently in the article: In 1667, during Ottoman rule, Ijnisinya appeared in the list of Greek Orthodox parochial churches. However, by 1838 the village no longer possessed a church, although there were still around 60 Christian residents.

And it is sourced to Ellenblum, 2003, p. 248. Unfortunately, Ellenblum does not give the sources for this information. Typically though, 1838 information came from Robinson. However, I have searched Robinson and Smith, and the only mention of this place are the two pages now in the biblio-section. None of them mentions the religion of the villagers. So who else travelled in the region in 1838? Or did Ellenblum make a mistake? Huldra (talk) 22:19, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
