not a lenin quote[edit]

The section on Leninism and the following sentence gives the impression that the quote is actually from Lenin, when in fact, it is not.

"Later communist revolutionaries, such as Lenin, consider other alternatives:" (this needs to be reworded as it gives the impression that what the reader is about to read is a quote from Lenin)

"What if capitalism came to be capable of raising the standard of living of the workers rather than further depressing it? A trade union consciousness could then establish itself that was not inherently and irrevocably revolutionary, one that was itself, AS LENIN CLAIMED (here the reader finds out that this is not a quote from Lenin's work), a form of bourgeois ideology, that is, a form of consciousness that was itself a means through which the bourgeoisie could extend and solidify its domination over the working class.[2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.84.68.252 (talk) 05:33, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
