Potential Epigenetic Implications[edit]

Strand immortality, if it occurs, could compromise epigenetic fidelity. I have recently published in "PLoSGenetics" a mathematical model to examine this possibility. A counterexample to the hypothesis[edit]

I am no expert on stem cells but recently read this paper:

There a different approach was used and no evidence supporting the immortal strand hypothesis were found. Could someone qualified please look at it and if found valid include it in the article? Furthermore, most cited papers are before 2010 and what is the current research opinion in 2023? 137.120.191.170 (talk) 15:00, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
