Release date[edit]
Stop changing the release date to 2001. The sources indicate it was released in 1969. You're basing the notion of this album never existing before 2001 on a theory from fan sites. Listen, Star Wars was released in 1977 and has CGI in it. You know why? Because CGI was added in 1997, and the original release version didn't have it. Understand??? - No, we're basing this on the fact that the label itself said this album is from 2001, and that they have nerver seen the supposed 1969 version. - And you have evidence to support this? A source? Yes, very obviously what's on the album is mostly from much later, but there are parts which sound like they are from the 60's. Jacula's 1972 album has a bonus track called "Absolution" stuck inbetween the original vinyl sides which was clearly recorded much later, and Antonius Rex's discography is full of music that was not recorded at the reported release date of the albums. For example, the album Antonius Rex made that is listed as a 1970s debut sounds exactly like this with very obviously not-70s overdubs. It doesn't mean we should just throw out the sources because the only available version is clearly heavily edited/remixed. 50.45.212.235 (talk) 11:59, 5 April 2016 (UTC)

I once read an interview with Bartoccetti in which he denied that the album was released, in another he stated it was printed but distributed only to religious cults. In some interviews he mentioned Gnome but you can see with your own eyes that the album does not appear in the label's catalogue! On Discogs there's no version of this album released in 1969. No one has aver seen or heard the original, not even prog collectors from the old days, not even the ones who published it in 2001! Massimo Gasperini of Black Widow said in an interview that he never saw the supposed original version and that he is not sure about the album being released in 1969! So release date is 2001 beceuase in any case it is a totally different album, being that Bartoccetti himself stated this... The cover of the album comes from "Terror" n. 27, an italian horror comic book, which was released in 1971 and then reused by the band Jacula for "Tardo Pede". The title of that issue was "L'orrendo pasto" which means "The horrendous meal": that's why on the cover we see a man eating a corpse in a cemetery. I think it's unlikely that it was first done for the album and then put on the comic book, plus the original is in colour, not black and white.--5.171.194.66 (talk) 15:34, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
