Improvements[edit]

I removed the link to Sommer's book, War Against Boys, as it simply redirected to the article on Sommers, which is already linked to in the article. I'd also suggest the book might need a separate article, but as I'm new I'm not sure how to go about adding it to various project to-do lists.

I'll do my best to make some other improvements here, but I have only cursory knowledge of Carol Gilligan.

I've made a few edits and surface-level improvements, but the article really needs expansion/a lot of work. I don't currently have the time to read the book or delve into research on it, but the whole portion on theory (90% of the article) is a complete mess of sections with next to no information under them. I'd like to just remove the sections, but then the content doesn't flow, and if I removed the whole portion on theory there'd be no article. Huxley G (talk) 21:53, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've cleaned up the external links section. Some links were dead, others were only available via the wayback archive. I'm having trouble actually linking it correctly, so the 'selected passages' one is here: [1] I'm also skeptical of whether:

  1. Archived web pages should be included for references or external links
  2. The link in question should be used. Do selected passages constitute a copyright violation?

Additionally, the link I left is absolutely ancient by web standards. Like 1998 old. I can't speak as to its usefulness, given the garish appearance of the site, but what I did find seemed written in a rather amateur (and uncited) manner, despite being a university professor's site. I've left it be for now, but may look for better material in the near future. Huxley G (talk) 18:04, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
