Archive Incident Command System talk page from pre-2007

This article provides nearly zero context about who what where or when this system is used. Is this all US-specific info? The article should say so if so. Surely in other countries they have systems for command in the case of "incidents" like this, but all of the specific info in the article seems to reference some certain agency's standards - while not saying which. 64.142.78.52 23:20, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I will update once I get a chance, thanks for the view. This is now mandated by the US Feds after 9/11. It is called NIMS (National Incident Management System) by them, based off of SIMS (Standardized Incident Management System) created by California, which was based off ICS.

It seems the request has been filled, with there being additions to NIMS and other country's use of a similar system. I am removing the cleanup tag unless others feel more cleanup is needed.
