NPOV dispute[edit]

This article consistently violates the Wikipedia:NPOV in almost all sections. It is written mostly by a single editor as a promotion for the organization [1][2]. Impala Music was heavily involved in lobbying [3] for the controversial Article 13 of the Copyright Directive. Contrast that with the section Copyright and Value Gap in this article, which presents only the organization's lobbying position.

I do not know how to fix this article. Given it mostly consists of promotion and propaganda, I guess most of the content should be deleted. I personally don't have the capacity to correct this issue, but would like to bring this to the attention of more experienced editors, given that Copyright is on the list of controversial issues.

Palimondo is right. The article breaches numerous Wikipedia rules, both stylistically and overall - see also WP:ADVERTISING. Hxcg, to avoid having this article tagged for speedy deletion, you will need to drastically cut down on content, removing all of those external links and long lists, source more material from a variety of WP:RS, not just the IMPALA site, and write some prose that doesn't sound like advertising. It needs to pass WP:NOTABILITY, which is not being shown in its current form. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 02:12, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've just spent (wasted?) a lot of time cutting out swathes of promotional material, unnecessary detail, and external links. I think it's okay to pass notability, and the language is less promotional now, but it still needs more material from other sources. I'll try to get back to it sometime. I'd like to see it stay because of links to other articles and place within the independent music industry across Europe. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:05, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
