Please reread Wp policy on disambiguation pages. It specifically states that we should consider what the average person is likely to expect when he types in the appropriate word. A simple google search indicates the vast majority of people believe that ISRO is the Indian Space REsearch Orgn. For a more culturally familiar comparison, consider NASA, which does not send you to a dap (inspite of 'what daps are for'. When CNN talks about the indian space agency they never referance it as the ISRO while they often referance NASA as NASA rather than its full name. Your argument applies only if people prefer to refer to the indian space agency by its abriviation rather than its full name which I do not believe is the case. --Cat out 07:18, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
