Introductory paragraph

The first paragraph from this article provides useful information on indie rock but does not cite any of the information found in the paragraph. Please add citations and provide sources, especially with regards to historical information. --Qm13 (talk) 17:53, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

Are you referring to the lede? Per WP:CITELEAD citations are not required in the lead, if they are redundant to citations in the body of the article. Shelbystripes (talk) 03:28, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

Notes section

In this section, source 36 is used several times in the article but does not provide a date. Always provide a date for sources on Wikipedia. --Qm13 (talk) 17:57, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

Would it not be more efficient for you to just add a date to the citation, than to tell others to do so on the talk page? Shelbystripes (talk) 03:29, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
Greetings @Shelbystripes. Thank you for your comment. Qm13's comments on this talk page are from a class exercise. We are just starting to discuss editing at this point. If you have any additional concerns, please let me know. Thank you again for your feedback. Best, --Jaobar (talk) 05:26, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
