Funky band gap statement[edit]

"(the obsolete value is 1.97 eV)" makes no sense without additional context --Belg4mit (talk) 02:41, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please clarify. Until some 10 years ago the 0.7 eV value was sort of unknown, and everyone used 1.97 eV. This change was a mini-revolution for this material. Materialscientist (talk) 02:56, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed it was a revolution. One of the latest papers about this I know is this: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs12043-012-0294-5. Therein, articles (from Phys. Stat. Sol. B, Appl. Phys. Lett., Phys. Rev., etc.) for both "results" are given. --Mlohr (talk) 15:21, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
