Can I use this to read old Amstrad 3" disks into my PC? Bastie 09:47, 18 January 2007 (UTC) Yes, if you wire up an amstrad 3" drive to an ibm/shugart 36 pin floppy cable, which requires a few AND gates IIRC. Lord Nightmare (talk) 00:25, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article reads as an advertisement, and isn't well referenced. I've added the appropriate tags. Feel free to comment on this. D235j (talk) 18:32, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of device name[edit]

@Krisjohn: @Frotz: @Electron9: (Pinging three people who made substantial contributions to the article who may know the answer to this question.) Is the name of this device derived from the character in the 1970 Catweazle television series? If it is, then I would mention it in this Catweasel article. — O'Dea (talk) 00:56, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I never saw this series and have no knowledge if it has anything to do with inspiring the name for the card. -- Frotz(talk) 04:34, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
