Industry self-regulationSelf-regulation – I edited this page to also inform on self-regulation within organizations, therefore the page name should be more general – 2016HD (talk) 14:46, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:01, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
  • Oppose – malformed request since it doesn't say what to do with the existing disambig page at that target. I oppose making the current article primartytopic, if that's the intent. Dicklyon (talk) 05:13, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
  • Strong oppose not the only form of self-regulation. I see no reason to merge the dab page to a hatnote here -- 70.51.200.96 (talk) 08:40, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
  • Oppose as a malformed request, per above, and without strong prejudice to a properly thought-out RM that takes into account the disambiguation page, but the opposes above have a point. Nonprofits are not magically outside of industries; a large number of them are part-and-parcel of industries, being industry trade associations. That said, "industry" might not be the proper disambiguation here. I'm too tired to pore over the DAB page and try to suggest a better one.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  10:16, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
