I think the Grenadier pub is probably this one: [1] Mock wurzel soup (talk) 21:02, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Grenadier (vehicle) into Ineos Grenadier[edit]

Seems to be same vehicle: is included on the dab page Grenadier (disambiguation), though only added there yesterday. PamD 11:42, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@PamD: Sorry - I didn't see that when I looked. Yes, a merger is needed. I'll attend to it, if others don't do so first. Arrivisto (talk) 14:33, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PamD: Merger done; redirect created. Arrivisto (talk) 14:33, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of links[edit]

Has the convention for article links changed? Every reference to Jaguar Land Rover is linked. Should these be removed? — PhilHibbs | talk 14:54, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deletions on Ineos Grenadier[edit]

Hi, you deleted, (in my view unjustifiably), two of my edits on Ineos Grenadier:

(i) I mentioned that beam axles were chose for their ruggedness over IS: this argument appeared in the official video; if you want a citation, put [citation needed], don't delete.

(ii) I mentioned that Ratcliffe, a Brexiteer and British nationalist, nevertheless may well abandon the Welsh site for one in France, and has abandoned his UK domicile for Monaco tax-free status. All this is relevant to an understanding of the man behind the project.

Please reconsider. Arrivisto (talk) 14:55, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Arrivisto, all recent changes to the article have been nuked, and without being able to check them, we cannot see exactly what they were or how they were supported. But in general, stuff relevant to the article should be supported by a reliable source. -- DeFacto (talk). 17:12, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
DeFacto Please rearrange: eggs teach suck grandmother. If you want a citation, put [citation needed], don't delete. Arrivisto (talk) 22:37, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Arrivisto, if I thought the addition was otherwise worthy I might have added a {{cn}}. However (without now being able to check it) I don't recall that being the case with either of those two cases you mentioned. How about presenting your proposed additions here, and they can be discussed. -- DeFacto (talk). 08:47, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
DeFacto I'm sure you know perfectly well that you know how to view my entries that you deleted. To repeat: the reasoning on why beam axles were chosen is on the Ineos promo video; the data on this patriot's decison to flee the UK's tax regime was in "The Times" newspaper. Arrivisto (talk) 14:12, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Arrivisto, you're confusing me now. Are you talking about the changes made on 6 October 2020? If you are, I cannot see them as they have been deleted by an administrator, along with all the changes made to the article between 2020-07-01T11:42:40‎ and 2020-10-07T16:10:59. If you can see them, please share the diffs here. -- DeFacto (talk). 14:51, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Arrivisto the article isn't about "the man behind the project" its about the Ineos Grenadier vehicle. Yours is simply a blatant attempt to politicise the piece. 146.199.238.43 (talk) 07:15, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
