Evolution[edit]

I give you my word that I am not kicking the hornet's nest for the heck of it, and I stopped here to say this without having yet finished the article, but after a link to the word and it being used two or three times incorrectly, I thought I should say something; more of a plea; to please think about whether or not borrowing the label of evolution and using it to describe an happening that is not evolution, does it labor to confuse or does it labor so that people may understand? Improvements made to non-living things is not evolution. An individual cannot and does not evolve. What is often mislabeled as evolution or something evolving, is nothing more than learning, and making adjustments through trial and error. That is not evolution, no matter how much it sounds logically correct. Evolution is a force that acts on life, it is not a force that acts on entities without Real Life DNA or RNA. And using it to describe things it is not is the main reason that so many misconceptions of what evolution is and how it works still persists to this day and these days in these latter ages. It would be a shame that the suffixical root word called evolution, became the reason the masses didn't understand this world and it's words because what was happening became trendy. -Dirtclustit (talk) 16:52, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
