Title of this page[edit]

There is already a page called Inland sea which refers to the geological feature - arguably the primary topic. To reduce confusion, I think that this disambiguation page should be moved to Inland Sea (disambiguation) or Inland sea (disambiguation) (both of which currently redirect to here). Inland sea (disambiguation) would be the title most consistent with the naming conventions. Thryduulf (talk) 00:15, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Google results for Inland Sea give this page top billing, way ahead of anything geology related. Inland sea should be moved to Inland sea (geology) and the DAB should stay here. Kauffner (talk) 14:10, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If the geology article is moved (something I wouldn't object to) then the dab should be at Inland sea not Inland Sea per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization). Thryduulf (talk) 14:34, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The recent move broke a number of links – not a huge number, but a few dozen. Those will need to be checked and repaired. If I have time later today I'll look at them, but if I don't get to it can someone please? Cnilep (talk) 06:24, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Main subject[edit]

Half the hits for "Inland sea" on Google books are Japan-related. (Compare here and here). Britannica and other reference works typically give the Japanese sea as the only meaning under the heading "Inland Sea". So I suggest giving Seto Inland Sea pride of place on this page. We are used to thinking of DABs as navigation tools to get readers to where they really want to go, but in this situation it would appear that the DAB itself is the primary topic. Kauffner (talk) 06:25, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gave the generic term, followed by a section of specific examples, with Seto Inland Sea given "pride of place".--Wetman (talk) 11:20, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
