A fact from Inno delle nazioni appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 3 September 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Giuseppe Verdi's secular cantata Inno delle nazioni, his first collaboration with Arrigo Boito, contains three national anthems?
Article says "in 1861 the committee invited Verdi, offering five suggestions as to form: anthem, chorale, triumphal march (for full orchestra), or march (for wind instruments)". That is four forms not five. Is "four" a mistake or is there an omission?Smeat75 (talk) 17:11, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for noticing. At the outset of the commission (to the other composers) they had 5 forms; by the time they approached Verdi, they narrowed it to four. I've made the correction in the text. Thanks again -- kosboot (talk) 17:46, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
