Signage[edit]

The picture of the "original college signpost" of 1929 can not be correct. At the top of the sign are the letters "ER" with a crown in between. In 1929, the Colony of Ceylon was ruled by King George V, so the sign should have had "GR." It must have been painted between 1952 and 1972, when the Dominion of Ceylon was subject to Queen Elizabeth II. NRPanikker (talk) 15:28, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
