Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on interim leader. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

This is an article about Canadian politics[edit]

I just removed the link to this article from the Clement Attlee article. Something should be done to make it clear that this article is about Canadian politics and not a general article about what an interim leader is. 122.108.156.100 (talk) 13:13, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You mean like something in the first sentence? Or in the infobox? It's in both places. I'm not sure what you are asking. --Yamla (talk) 13:31, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever works as it was not the first time that I had to remove a link to an article that had nothing to do with Canadian politics. 122.108.156.100 (talk) 16:24, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is literally the first time I've ever, in 15 years of editing Wikipedia and 46.5 years of being a living breathing human, heard the slighest indication whatsoever that "interim leader" is not a uniquely Canadian term. We'll obviously have to consider moving this article to a Canadian-specific title, and instituting a more general article or disambiguation page about the broader concept — but just to be clear, this article has existed in this form for 15 years and you're the first person ever to raise a single example of a non-Canadian usage of this term actually existing. Update: I've moved this article to "interim leader (Canada)", while redirecting the undabbed interim leader to interim since that page already contains content about interim leaders. Bearcat (talk) 17:28, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
