Is this original research?[edit]

As it is, this article is completely unreferenced. Of course, there are numerous "Internal security" acts, such as McCarran Internal Security Act, Malaysia's Internal Security Act [1], Thailand's Internal Security Bill [2], and possibly others. Are we talking about such acts in this article? Please make it clear and sourced. Otherwise, this aricle may qualify for deletion.Biophys 21:06, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note that we have already List of intelligence agencies, List of law enforcement agencies, List of protective services, and List of secret police organizations. So, the list provided here is hardly meaningful.Biophys 21:12, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is a mere definition of the term "Internal Security", it does not qualify for deletion. Havinga small list of examples of IS orgs is not meaningless, not everyone reading this article may have read those lists. QZXA2 22:03, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Noam Chomsky quote unnecessary/non-neutral?[edit]

The quote seems a little out of place, if we're generically defining IS, then such a view is a distraction. I'm sure someone can put up a whole article on the use (or misuse) of internal security bureaus throughout history, but here it's just disjointed. Kw0134 (talk) 01:07, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
