Uploading new image of IBCC site[edit]

Hi, I notice someone tried to upload a more up-to-date image of the IBCC site, with this edit: [1] A new image would be very welcome, but something clearly went wrong. If you were the uploader, please leave a reply here, and I will do what I can to help. (To complicate matters, you may have to change your username, or create a new username that meets Wikipedia's Username policy WP:ORGNAME, before you can do this).

[edit]

I have changed the wording to make the article read less like an advert. If no-one objects I will remove the "advert" flag in a week or so. The article also needs updating, preferably by a subject matter expert. Hallucegenia (talk) 13:06, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No response, which I take as WP:CONSENSUS, so I'll remove the advert tag and add one saying we need an expert on the subject - to update the article and provide images. Hallucegenia (talk) 11:13, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed[edit]

This whole article is now out of date, and needs updating especially with more up-to-date images of the site. Hallucegenia (talk) 11:18, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I placed a "needs updating" tag on this article a while ago partly in the hope of enticing back a previous editor who seemed to have some knowledge of the subject, but to no avail. The tag now just detracts from the article, and I have added a few more images taken from the Geograph project, so unless anyone objects I will remove the tag in a few days time. Conflict of interest tag[edit]

The article is currently flagged with a WP:COI tag, stating that "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject." The only contributions that I can see to which this may apply are here and possibly here.

It doesn't seem to me that these five edits represent a "major contribution" to the article, and in any case they have been reverted. So, unless anyone objects, I propose to remove the COI tag in a week or so. Hallucegenia (talk) 20:00, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
