Protected edit request on 8 September 2019[edit]

Regardless of whether you decide to rescind the protected status of the redirect, the fact it redirects to the article for the IWA makes no sense as they are two separate international organizations. A redirect to the article for Anarcho-Syndicalism would make more sense.

That being said, I suggest we restore the page, updating it to reflect recent changes and adding sources from Freedom News, the CNT, IWW and others. Grnrchst (talk) 11:56, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please link to WD object[edit]

Please link ihis wikipedia entry to WD object Q95999482. Yger (talk) 18:21, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yger, That's done at d:Q95999482. At the bottom you'll see a section where it links to the Swedish article sv:Internationella Arbetarekonfederationen. Click edit and add an entry for en. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 10:32, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I can not do this to a redirect. The redirect needs to be undone, the link established and then the redirect recreated.Yger (talk) 11:56, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: This is a hack for Wikidata and isn't supported by the software. Izno (talk) 01:52, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I appeal. This is an accepted action, see T54564 and {{Wikidata redirect}}.Yger (talk) 06:08, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It was nothing to do with the redirect, it was already linked to International Confederation of Labor (Q55078537). I have now merged the items on wikidata — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 19:01, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, my mistake not findin that WD object.Yger (talk) 05:57, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Protected edit request on 17 January 2021[edit]

Because International Workers' Association was converted into WP:DISAMBIG this redirect needs to be updated to IWA–AIT#IWA_today @Czar: ~ Shushugah (talk) 19:10, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to IWA–AIT#IWA today, because the current target page has moved and a dab has been created at its former title. Certes (talk) 20:19, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!  Done czar 20:44, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Czar. I'm in the middle of cleaning up after the move, starting with the redirects to the dab that should go to IWA–AIT and moving on to the articles etc. If you're also doing that, we should co-ordinate. Certes (talk) 20:48, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Certes, if you already have a system, feel free to go for it. (I haven't been able to get tools:~dispenser/view/Dab solver to work in months...) Ping me and I'm happy to clean up edge cases or anything else. czar 20:53, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm using JWB for most of it and will finish off with DisamAssist. Most Dispenser tools still work but you have to use the secret IP address, e.g. http://69.142.160.183/~dispenser/view/Dab_solver. Certes (talk) 20:56, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Should be done now for all article namespaces. I won't bother with the other ones. ~ Shushugah (talk) 22:34, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'd left some I wasn't sure of. (The International Workers' Association and the International Workingmen's Association were each known by both of those names.) I've tidied up the remaining odds and ends such as portals and file descriptions. Certes (talk) 23:33, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but ICL is not the IWA!
ICL-ICT: https://www.iclcit.org/ but: IWA/AIT https://www.iwa-ait.org/ So this protected forward is just wrong! Vinci (talk) 19:02, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

COB does not exist[edit]

Please, be aware that the brazilian section of ICL is FOB, not COB, that does not exist as a mass movement but is just a sectarian colective limited to são paulo, Federação das Organizações Sindicalistas Revolucionárias do Brasil is the real one, as you can see here JoaquimCebuano (talk) 03:25, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to section that now does not exist[edit]

The redirect is to IWA–AIT#IWA today, a section which no longer exists. If anything, it would have to be to IWA–AIT#Other anarchist internationals and international networks, not a great redirect, a stub article would be better. Also, the spelling used by the ICL-CIT is "International Confederation of Labour". The redirect page seems to be strongly protected, as I can't edit it.
