Merger proposal[edit]

Global change is essentially a close paraphrase of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme's work, publications and agenda, using exact copies of their slides as illustrations. International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme is a stub, so there's no reason why the 'global change' content needed to be split off to a separate article due to space issues. It's a single-POV article with little reference to any source besides the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme, so it belongs under that topic. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:08, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it should be merged. It appears to basically be a summarized duplicate. Andrew. Z. Colvin • Talk 02:23, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The Global change article was probably established as a WP:COATRACK for International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme, but nevertheless contains general points about the global change. So, rather than merging, I'd support trimming the current content to referenced claims (see What to do about coatracks); therefore, oppose merge. Klbrain (talk) 22:07, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
